Our Coffee
Serving organic fair trade Wicked Joe's Coffee. Daily selections include our personlized Mama Ds house brew; flavorful & robust, French roast; bold & strong, Decafe French Roast & Decafe Mama D's blend, and alternating daily flavors including Wicked Chocolate, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Snickerdoodle, Jamacian Me Crazy, and many more!!
Our self-serve "coffee & tea bar" allows patrons to choose their own mug, fix coffee to their liking, and grab a free refill at their leisure.
Servers will prepare for you hand crafted latees or cappuccinos to meet your espresso needs. Check the board for daily speciality drinks.
Homemade, cooked to order
Each meal is cooked to order, and prepared with local fresh ingredients. Some speciality items include our famous belgian waffles; light & fluffy, which can be "loaded" with fruit, nuts and whip cream, the Mama Ds breakfast sandwich; hot & spicy, named to the top 16 breakfast sandwiches in the county, and our omelettes. *Gluten free options available - although prepared in a non-gluten free kitchen*
You can be sure each meal is thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail (as Mama D herself can be found in the kitchen nearly every day).

Mama D
Mama D (Lorie Demers) opened the cafe 13 years ago after her 2 successful former cafe's, Biscotti & Black Kofee. She reined the name Mama D from a few close friends, and it has stuck ever since. Her attention to detail is admirable, and is seen through her preparation & presentation of each meal, as well as her ever changing seasonal decor in the cafe.
Stop in, say hi, take in the warm & friendly atmosphere while enjoying a home cooked meal.
There are plenty of cozy seats inside, including two bar areas, as well as a deck for hot summer days and front porch with a view of the harbor & foot bridge... It's like coming home.
